2009/2010 WATER CEREMONY - THE COLORADO RIVER PROJECT - "THE HOLY ONES"

The "Holy Ones" have called upon all of us to do a great healing work for the river we call the Colorado. The "Holy Ones" are connecting and gathering the people together at a very fast pace. Many ceremonies have already been initiated. People who have a calling to do this work are using their gifts in areas along the river.

Seven tribes in the Southern portion of the river have collectively come together in conference to identify what is happening in their tribal lands along the river. Another group of us are going to all of the Major tributaries that form the river's water.

Water ceremonies have been initiated at the headwaters of the Colorado and Green rivers, along with the major tributaries that feed the Colorado River; the rivers include the Piedra, Little Colorado, Gila, and Salt River.

The outcome of these ceremonies, that have been directed by the Holy Ones, will bring the waters back to the ocean (which have not flowed south of Yuma, Arizona for more than 40 years; this is a direct result of 54 dams along the Colorado River Complex, plus diminished rain/snow fall.)

2009/2010 COLORADO RIVER PROJECT - THE JOURNEY

THE VISION

Healing journey was shown to Gustavo Gutierrez a decade ago.  The Holy Ones showed him a vision that the Colorado River was reaching out for help.  It was shown that water healing ceremonies would bring back  life to the Colorado River.  It was also shown that many of the tribes would be coming  together to bring back the strength of the river.
Gustavo had many concerns about the vision and how this would be accomplished.

In 2006, Gustavo contacted Marshall Jack to discuss the possibilities of healing the waters through the ceremonies that were shown by the Holy Ones.  Through offerings and prayers to the Holy Ones it was shown that the energies for the waters could be revived through crystalline energy.  The Holy Ones showed a crystal altar that would bring back the original DNA structure of the water through the Grandmothers spirits - the lifegiver of all things.  It was also shown that the Cloud Nations would play a very significant part in restoring the strength and quantity that is needed to bring back the life that the river once had.  And so the journey begins......

THE JOURNEY

The Holy Ones showed that a collection of waters from all the major influences could be brought to the people to allow them to place their intents for the rebirthing of the Colorado River waters.

PIEDRA RIVER

The following epic journey began on August 22, 2009 at Pagosa Springs, Colorado.  The activation process began with the water ceremony at the headwaters of the Piedra River, which is one of the main tributaries that feed the
Colorado River.  This tributary, along with many others, empties into the San Juan River which becomes part of the Colorado River.
Waters were collected from the Piedra River, sacred offerings were given.

HEADWATERS OF THE COLORADO RIVER

A journey began by collecting these waters through the efforts of the Grandmother and Grandfather spirit.  The initial collection of the waters began at RockyMountain National Park in Estes Park, Colorado - September 18, 2009.  Water blessing, clearing and Cloud Nation ceremonies were offered to the Mother Earth.

GREEN RIVER

The next journey was to the headwaters of the Green River, which is the largest tributary of the Colorado River; located near Pinedale, Wyoming.  Once again the ceremonies were performed and the waters collected. September 22, 2009

CONFLUENCE - GREEN/COLORADO RIVERS

The next journey that was shown by the Holy Ones was to go to the confluence of the Green and Colorado Rivers near Moab, Utah.  Marriage and Clearing ceremonies were performed and, once again, waters were collected. September 24, 2009.

PHASE TWO
The Holy Ones indicated that the next phase of the journey would be to collect the waters from three additional tributaries that give the Colorado it's strength - the Gila River, Salt River and the Little Colorado River.

GILA RIVER

The first tributary journey was to the headwaters of the Gila River in Gila National Forest, New Mexico near Silver City.  Honoring of the ancestors, clearing, cloud and water ceremonies were performed there along with collecting the waters. October 22, 2009

HEADWATERS OF THE LITTLE COLORADO RIVER

The continued journey led us to the headwaters of the Little Colorado River, White Mountains, Arizona.  Here we were guided  to make the offerings and conduct the ceremonies as the Holy Ones had shown. Crystals were placed and waters collected.  The next leg of the journey was shown to be the Salt River. October 24, 2009

SALT RIVER

The Salt River activation was conducted north east of the Roosevelt Dam, near Globe, Arizona.
Medicine wheel ceremony was needed to complete this tributary cycle.  October 26, 2009

And the journey continues........

BAJA PENINSULA, GULF OF CALIFORNIA

Ceremony was conducted the end of March in Yuma, Arizona with the Colorado River and Cocopah Tribes. The collected Grandmothers' waters of the Colorado River Complex were presented to the tribes. UPDATE: There was a completion of the INTENT in April 2010 when the Colorado River completed it's journey to the Baja, Gulf of California -- first time in many years. Also, the Gila River, for the first time in over 40 years, traveled from New Mexico, through Arizona, and emptied into the Colorado River at Yuma, Arizona . One very important aspect of this ceremony was that these tribes had not gathered together in over 50 years. It was a weekend of great significance for all who attended.
